Hello,

the IMatch-2-IPTC is now available in version 3.0b.

New feature:

- Thesaurus editor, which is based 100% of the IMatch thesaurus
- add, del, save, change IMatch thesaurus from within the script



History:

originally, the script was designed to fill the IPTC keywords based on the the IMatch thesaurus to generate new IPTC keywords. Therefore, the IMatch catergories were split into parts, e.g.:

"Sport.Ice Speed Skating.Athlet.Germany.Pechstein, Claudia"

will become:

"Sport"
"Ice Speed Skating"
"Athlet"
"Germany"
"Pechstein, Claudia"

now these words will become IPTC keywords. For each word, the IMatch thesaurus is ask for available synonyms, e.g.

"Ice Speed Skating" has as synonym:

"ice", "speed", "skating", "skater", "cold", "winter", sport"

each synonym will be appended to the IPTC keywords.

Furthermore, the script became a full featured IPTC Editor.
