Script downloading and installation instructions
From ptWiki
Scripts from the Wiki are in zipped format. Inside the zip file, you can usually find:
- The script itself: a file with .bas extension.
- The script information file: a file with .bai extension. This file may not exist, but this is not a problem.
- If needed, other files that the script uses.
Simply extract all the files (with paths) to your IMatch script directory. This is the directory you can see in
Options>Preferences>General>Script folder.
If you haven't changed IMatch default installation folder, it resolves to:
IMatch 3.5 (and earlier): C:\Program Files\photools.com\IMatch\Scripts\
IMatch 3.6: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\photools.com\IMatch\Scripts\
(\All Users\ may vary if you installed IMatch so that runs under a single Windows user account.)
Once you have extracted the file, close and reopen IMatch (if you had it opened) and the script will appear in the Scripting>Scripts menu option.
Depending upon the author desire (and the .bai file ), it can appear in a submenu of this menu.
(with the newest iMatch Versions closing/reopening may not be necessary anymore)
Make sure you read any other instructions that the author gives in the script page, Specially if there are comments regarding trying in a test database, or about file changing.
